How to Choose a CZ Shadow 2 Optic Mount
1. Confirm the slide configuration
A standard CZ Shadow 2 has a rear sight installed in a dovetail. The appropriate EGW mount replaces that rear sight. A Shadow 2 Optics Ready or Shadow 2 Compact Optics Ready has a factory optic cut and requires a compatible adapter plate.
2. Identify the exact red dot model
Do not select a plate according to brand alone. Holosun, Vortex and other manufacturers produce optics that use several different footprints. For example, the Holosun 407C and 407K require different mounting interfaces.
3. Match the optic to the EGW compatibility list
Confirm that the exact firearm configuration and exact red dot model are listed on the individual product page. Similar-looking optics are not necessarily interchangeable.
4. Review the installation information
Standard dovetail mounts are press-fit parts, so minor fitment may be required. A sight pusher tool may also be necessary. Review all installation and hardware information provided on the product page before beginning installation.
