This mount replaces the factory rear sight and installs into the rear sight dovetail. If your CZ Shadow 2 has a factory Optics Ready slide cut and removable optic cover plate, you need the appropriate EGW Optics Ready adapter plate instead.

Add a modern red dot sight to your CZ Shadow 2, CZ 75 Shadow, or CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow without machining the slide. This EGW dovetail red dot mount replaces the factory rear sight and provides a secure mounting platform for a wide range of today's most popular compact and full-size pistol optics.
The multi-footprint design supports optics using the Holosun K / Shield RMSc footprint as well as optics using the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint. This gives shooters compatibility with popular optics including the Holosun 407K, 507K, EPS, EPS Carry, Vortex Defender Series, Shield RMSc, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and many other compatible red dots.
The mount is precision CNC machined from 7075 aluminum and finished with a durable matte black hardcoat anodizing. The dovetail design allows the optic mount to be installed in place of the factory rear sight without permanent modification to the slide.
Whether you are building a competition Shadow 2, upgrading a CZ 75 Shadow for range use, or simply want faster target acquisition from a red dot, this mount provides a clean and reversible way to add an optic to your pistol.

VORTEX VENOM COMPATIBILITY
This mount fits the Vortex Venom Enclosed Red Dot. It does not fit the original Vortex Venom open-emitter red dot. The original Vortex Venom uses the Docter footprint and requires a different EGW mount.
Holosun EPS & EPS Carry Compatibility
This mount is compatible with both the full-size Holosun EPS and the compact Holosun EPS Carry. This allows shooters who prefer an enclosed-emitter optic to use the EPS family on a standard dovetail-equipped CZ Shadow pistol without machining the slide.
DeltaPoint Pro Footprint Compatibility
In addition to Holosun K and Shield RMSc-pattern optics, this mount accepts optics using the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint. The multi-footprint design provides more flexibility when selecting an optic and makes it easier to change red dots in the future without replacing the dovetail mount.

Installation & Fitment
The EGW dovetail mount is designed to be installed from left to right with the muzzle facing forward. The dovetail incorporates a progressive taper to make installation easier while still providing a secure fit.
Because dovetail dimensions can vary between individual firearms, minor fitting may be required. We recommend using a quality sight pusher whenever possible rather than striking the mount directly.
- Verify that the firearm is completely unloaded.
- Remove the factory rear sight.
- Clean the dovetail and mating surfaces to remove oil and debris.
- Install the EGW sight mount into the dovetail from left to right with the muzzle facing forward.
- Verify that the mount is centered and securely seated.
- Tighten the set screw.
- Place the red dot sight onto the EGW mount and verify that it sits completely flat.
- Apply a small amount of blue thread-locking compound to the supplied optic mounting screws.
- Tighten the optic mounting screws evenly to 15 in-lbs.
- Verify that the mount and optic are secure before firing the pistol.
DOVETAIL FITTING NOTE
This mount is designed for a secure press fit. Due to manufacturing tolerances between individual slides, minor fitting may be required. A sight pusher is recommended for installation. Do not force the mount into the dovetail if excessive resistance is encountered.

Yes. This mount fits the standard CZ Shadow 2 with the compatible factory rear sight dovetail.
Does this mount fit the CZ Shadow 2 Optics Ready?
No. The Shadow 2 Optics Ready uses a factory optic cut and requires the appropriate EGW Optics Ready adapter plate.
Does this require machining my slide?
No. The mount replaces the factory rear sight and installs into the existing dovetail.
Will this fit the Holosun 407K and 507K?

Can I reinstall my factory rear sight later?
Yes. Because the slide is not permanently modified, the EGW mount can be removed and the original rear sight can be reinstalled.
