Installation & Overview
The EGW Universal .670 radius red dot mount is designed for shooters looking to mount popular Docter footprint optics directly to compatible shotgun and rifle receivers. This mount features a .670" bottom radius and is commonly used on select Remington, Mossberg, Benelli, Browning, Franchi, Savage, Stoeger and Winchester applications.
Compatible with optics like the Vortex Venom (open emitter), Vortex Viper, Burris FastFire series, and other Docter footprint red dots, this mount gives shotgun and rifle owners a lower, cleaner alternative to stacking a Picatinny rail and a separate red dot adapter plate.
This mount is especially useful for turkey guns, slug guns, hunting rifles, muzzleloader-style setups, and other firearms where keeping the optic low to the receiver helps improve cheek weld, sight acquisition, and overall handling.
The four mounting spreads on this mount measure .500"-.505", .600", .860", and 1.4". There should be a slight gap at the top of the radius between the receiver and the mount when installed properly.
Due to manufacturing tolerances between firearms, minor fitting may be required.

Installation Instructions
- Verify your receiver radius and hole spacing before installation
- Select the correct screw set for your firearm
- Position the mount onto the receiver
- Install the supplied mounting screws
- Place the optic onto the mount
- Apply blue Loctite to mounting screws
- Torque mounting screws to 15 in/lbs
Fitment Notes
This mount features a .670" radius. There should be a slight gap at the top of the radius between the receiver and the mount when installed properly.
The Winchester SX4 requires 8-36 x 3/8 screws, which are not provided with this mount.
Due to manufacturing tolerances between firearms, minor fitting may be required.
