While the factory two-piece bases serve a purpose, they lack the rigidity and flexibility required for precision shooting. This one-piece rail bridges the receiver, creating a rock-solid platform that accepts any scope or red dot sight.

Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and specifically designed for the 783 receiver. The center channel reduces weight without sacrificing strength. The full-length cross slots allow you to mount your rings anywhere on the rail, solving eye relief issues common with traditional scope bases.

Remington 783 FAQ

Will this fit the Remington 700?

No. The Remington 783 uses a completely different hole spacing and receiver contour than the Model 700. This rail is specific to the 783 Long Action.

Will this fit the 783 Short Action?

No. The Short Action (for calibers like .308 and .243) has a shorter receiver, so the mounting holes are closer together. You need our 783 Short Action rail for those calibers.

Why choose 0 MOA?

For most hunting and general target shooting (0-600 yards), 0 MOA is the correct choice. It keeps your scope optically centered for easy zeroing at 100 yards.
