This sear pin is oversized. It is .110" in diameter instead of the standard, G.I. .109".

We have found that suppliers of 1911 pin sets to the firearms industry are using leaded steel. You can easily cut leaded steel pins with wire cutters. Our pin sets are made from drill rod, which is a much stronger material.
