Why Start with an XXL Ejector Block?
A finished ejector has an established nose, rear contour, and frame interface. A grossly oversized blank provides additional stock for the pistolsmith to create those details for a particular project.
This can be useful with nonstandard slides or frames where an ordinary replacement ejector is not an appropriate starting point.
