Previously our Mossberg 500 Pre '97 mount came drilled for and is provided with 6-48 screws and the late model of the mount (Post '97) came drilled for and provided with 8-40 screws. We have since updated our screw design for mounts requiring both sets of screws and we now provide both sets of screws with this one rail. Please bear with us, you may receive an item with old packing cards. If your mount comes with a blue bag (#6-48) and a red bag (#8-40) of screws, you have the proper screws for all year models.

Are you looking to install a picatinny rail on your Mossberg 500, Mossberg 590, Mossberg 835, Mossberg 930, or your Mossberg 935? Our Heavy Duty picatinny rail for the Mossberg 500, Mossberg 590, Mossberg 835, Mossberg 930, and Mossberg 935 is easy to install. It only requires 4 screws and a T10 Torx bit, both of which are provided with our picatinny mount. We even send #8-40 and #6-48 screws, so no matter when your Mossberg shotgun was manufactured, our rail will fit. Just remove any plugs in the receiver that were installed from the factory, place our mount on the receiver, use a dab of blue thread locker and install the screws. Make sure to torque them to 15 in/lbs.

We recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions we have published.

Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.

This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings.

We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability.

Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).

The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.
