The EGW Heavy-Duty (HD) Picatinny Rail is precision-machined from 7075 T6 aluminum to provide a rock-solid, one-piece platform for mounting any scope. Our one-piece rail eliminates the flex of two-piece bases and is engineered to fit the specific action patterns of modern X-Bolt rifles, ensuring your optic holds zero under the heaviest recoil.

CRITICAL FITMENT GUIDE: Gen 1 vs. Gen 2 X-Bolt

Gen 1 X-Bolt: This rail fits Gen 1 MAGNUM ACTIONS ONLY (e.g., .300 RUM, 300 PRC, .375 H&H, 7mm PRC). It will NOT fit Gen 1 Long Action receivers.

Gen 2 X-Bolt: This rail fits ALL Gen 2 ACTIONS (both Long and Magnum), as Gen 2 receivers now use the Gen 1 Magnum hole pattern.

Please measure your inside hole spacing to confirm. The center-to-center spacing of the two inner holes on your receiver should be 3.93".

Gunsmith & Installation Warning: Check Your Countersink

We STRONGLY suggest taking your gun to a qualified and competent gunsmith to have this mount installed.

Older X-Bolts had front screw holes threaded shallowly. Newer models have a deeper countersink, which can prevent screws from engaging enough threads, leading to stripped holes. Our mounts made after January 2021 (date code '21' or higher on the bottom) have a deeper countersink to match newer rifles.

We recommend test fitting the screws before Loctiting. If the screws only engage with one thread (on an older mount), please contact us for longer screws. If the screws bottom out (on a newer mount with an older rail), we recommend removing a small amount of material from the screw.

X-Bolt Scope Mount FAQ

What is a 0 MOA scope mount for?

A 0 MOA mount is a parallel mount that has no built-in angle. It is the perfect choice for hunters and shooters operating within the standard effective range of their cartridge (e.g., 0-800 yards for most magnum calibers). It ensures you have the full range of your scope's internal adjustment for easy zeroing.

How do I know this will fit my X-Bolt?

This rail fits all Gen 1 Magnum Actions and all Gen 2 (Long and Magnum) Actions. It does NOT fit Gen 1 Short or Long actions. The best way to be 100% sure is to measure the hole spacing on your receiver. The distance between the two inner holes, center-to-center, should be 3.93".
