Mounting Hardware Included

This mount includes the application-specific hardware required to secure the mount to the Henry H001 receiver dovetail and the appropriate optic mounting screws supplied for compatible Docter footprint red dots.

The exact optic mounting screws used will depend on the red dot model. Always verify that the optic sits completely flat and that the screws provide sufficient thread engagement without bottoming out.

Installation Instructions

1. Unload the rifle and verify that the chamber and magazine are empty.
2. Clean the receiver dovetail and the mating surfaces of the mount to remove oil, dirt, and debris.
3. Loosen the dovetail mounting hardware enough to position the mount on the receiver.
4. Place the mount at the desired location on the Henry H001 3/8" dovetail.
5. Tighten the dovetail mounting hardware evenly so the mount remains level and securely clamped.
6. Place the red dot sight onto the EGW mount and verify that it sits completely flat.
7. Apply a small amount of blue thread-locking compound to the optic mounting screws when recommended by the optic manufacturer.
8. Tighten the optic mounting screws evenly according to the optic manufacturer's recommended torque specification.
9. Confirm that the mount and optic are secure before sighting in or firing the rifle.

Fitment Notes

This mount is designed specifically for the Henry H001 3/8" receiver dovetail. It does not attach to a Picatinny rail and should not be installed on a Weaver or other rail system.

The mount should clamp securely and remain level without excessive force or visible movement.

Optic screw requirements may vary between manufacturers and models. Verify screw length and thread engagement before applying final torque.

Does this mount fit a Picatinny rail?
No. This mount is designed to attach directly to the 3/8" receiver dovetail on compatible Henry H001 rifles.

Will this fit the Vortex Venom Enclosed?
No. This mount fits the original Vortex Venom open-emitter optic. The Vortex Venom Enclosed uses a different mounting footprint.

Will this fit a Holosun 407C or 507C?
No. The Holosun 407C and 507C use the Trijicon RMR footprint and require the correct RMR-footprint Henry H001 mount.

Are mounting screws included?
Yes. The mount includes application-specific mounting hardware. Always verify optic screw length before final installation.

Does this mount require fitting?
Due to manufacturing tolerances between firearms, minor fitting may be required.
