Upgrade your Taurus PT1911 with an EGW red dot mount designed for pistols using the licensed Novak rear sight cut. This mount replaces the factory rear sight and allows installation of optics using the Docter / FastFire / Viper / Venom footprint.

Machined from 7075 aluminum and finished in matte black hardcoat anodizing, this plate provides a lightweight and durable mounting solution for carry, range, or competition use.

The mount installs in the rear sight dovetail and is designed to be installed from left to right with the muzzle facing forward.

Installation Notes

  • Remove factory rear sight
  • Install mount into dovetail from left to right
  • Tighten set screw
  • Install optic
  • Apply blue Loctite to screws
  • Torque optic screws to 15 in/lbs
