Picatinny Rail for Remington 597 - 20 MOA

Quick Check: Fits all Remington 597 Rimfire Rifles.
This rail features 20 MOA of built-in elevation, allowing you to dial your scope for longer distances (150+ yards) without running out of internal adjustment.

Installation & Overview

(Watch our guide on how to properly torque and install your EGW rail).

Push your Remington 597 beyond standard rimfire distances with our 20 MOA Picatinny Rail. Whether you are using your 597 as a long-range trainer or competing in rimfire matches, this base gives you the extra elevation travel needed to compensate for bullet drop at 150, 200, and 300 yards.

Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and rigid. The center channel (valley) running down the middle reduces overall mass while maintaining a low profile. The Picatinny slots run the full length of the mount, giving you maximum flexibility to position your scope rings for the perfect eye relief.

Remington 597 Rail FAQ

Why choose 20 MOA?

20 MOA angles your scope downward toward the barrel. This forces you to dial your reticle "up" to re-center it, effectively giving you 20 extra minutes of angle (roughly 20 inches at 100 yards) of upward adjustment. This is critical for .22LR, which experiences significant bullet drop past 100 yards.

Will this fit the heavy barrel model?

Yes. The receiver dimensions on the standard 597 and the heavy barrel (HB) versions are identical. This rail fits both perfectly.

Can I zero at 50 yards with this mount?

Usually, yes. Most modern scopes have enough internal travel to zero at 50 yards even with a 20 MOA base. However, if you are using an older scope with very limited internal adjustment, you might struggle to get a 50-yard zero.
