Description

Picatinny Rail for Remington 597 - 0 MOA

Quick Check: Fits all Remington 597 Rimfire Rifles.
This rail attaches directly to the factory drilled and tapped holes on your receiver, providing a far more secure mount than the standard tip-off dovetail.

Installation & Overview

(Watch our guide on how to properly torque and install your EGW rail).

The Remington 597 is a classic semi-auto rimfire, but factory scope mounting options can sometimes be frustrating. EGW solves this by converting the top of your receiver into a solid, one-piece Picatinny mounting platform.

Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and rigid. The center channel (valley) down the middle of the rail reduces overall mass without sacrificing durability. The Picatinny slots run the length of the mount, giving you the flexibility to position your scope rings exactly where you need them for proper eye relief.

Remington 597 Rail FAQ

Why choose 0 MOA?

For most .22 LR shooters, 0 MOA is the correct choice. It keeps your scope optically centered for shooting distances typically associated with rimfire rifles (0-150 yards). Unless you are building a dedicated long-range rimfire trainer to shoot past 200 yards, you do not need 20 MOA.

Will this fit the heavy barrel model?

Yes. The receiver dimensions on the standard 597 and the heavy barrel (HB) versions are identical. This rail fits both perfectly.
