The EGW O/S firing pin stop was my most recent purchase from EGW. Out of the package it didn't fit, but that's good, because it's not supposed to. It needs to be fit to the particular 1911 you are working on, and the amount of material that needs to be removed will vary depending on the tolerances of the gun... I will say, I have purchased quite a few 1911 parts from WC and EB over the last several years, and I have been happy with the EB products and service, but not so much with WC. In all honesty, I won't be buying from WC anymore. I placed a substantial order before Christmas last year, and that will be my last order with them... I'm not bashing the company, I'm just sayin... The first few EGW parts I ordered were actually purchased on ebay, but I have also purchased directly from EGW It was so nice when I first started using EGW parts, to see that quality parts do still exist Now when I need 1911 parts, I go to EGW first... I've been very impressed with the quality and the service has been great.
