Reverse Plugs from EGW are designed for easy installation and increased performance.

Made from carbon steel (not lead alloy) to eliminate cracking, the rounded shoulder is extended for added support with no exposed area where cracks can occur.

A reverse plug is used in comp guns and bull barreled pistols where there is no bushing to retain the spring.

This plug is for 4" length slides only. Available in Carbon Steel only. Must be installed by a competent gunsmith.

Ordered this to use with an atlas 4.25 slide for a 2011 build. Atlas slides are not true commander slides, they are just government slides cut down to 4.25, a standard commander reverse plug will not work. I took a gamble with this after doing some measuring and it turned out to be just the perfect size. The finish and fit on all of the EGW parts I’ve ordered is amazing.
