Why do I need extra high (1.5") rings for my .22?
It comes down to ergonomics. If you are using a modern chassis (like an MDT or KRG) or a stock with a high cheek piece, "standard" height rings are often too low to get a proper sight picture without straining your neck. 1.5" rings raise the optic to a comfortable level for these straight-line stocks, similar to the height of an AR-15 optic.
Do these fit the dovetail on my CZ 457?
No, these rings are designed for Picatinny or Weaver rails. Most precision CZ 457 builds utilize a Picatinny scope base (which we also sell!) to add cant (MOA) for long-range shooting. You will need to install a Picatinny rail on your receiver to use these rings.
