The secret to a perfect "custom" feel is parts designed by gunsmiths, for gunsmiths. Here’s why our beavertail is the superior choice:

• ✔ Engineered for a Perfect .250" Radius Fit: We machine the radius to .245", slightly undersized, to ensure a tight, perfect fit on frames that have been pre-cut using a standard .250" jig.
• ✔ Blend the Part, Not the Frame: The beavertail is intentionally wider than the frame (.770"), allowing your gunsmith to perfectly blend the part down to the frame's contours, not the other way around.
• ✔ Seamless, Gap-Free Fit: We added extra material to the bottom, widened it to .617", and refined the bottom radius and angle to dramatically reduce the gap between the beavertail and the mainspring housing for a true custom look.
• ✔ Rattle-Free, Precision Fit: The body is machined .308"-.309" wide to fit snugly between the frame ears, and the pin hole is reamed to a precise .158" to improve ambi thumb safety function and eliminate slop.
• ✔ Ready for Custom Shaping: The grip pad is left full and blank, serving as a clean canvas for a gunsmith to shape, scallop, or blend it to their artistic interpretation or the customer's specific needs.
