The mount is extended to follow the profile of the complete upper for a custom seamless look.

It also utilizes three cross bolts to attach properly and securely.

The screws are flush mounted for a no-snag snug fit.

Finally, the added height of the mount slightly raises your optics for a more comfortable shooting position. This allows you to easily swap scopes from other picatinny applications without swapping rings.
