What is the difference between a green dot and a red dot?

The human eye is naturally more sensitive to the green light spectrum, which can make a green dot appear brighter and easier to see, especially for shooters with astigmatism or in bright daylight conditions. The choice between red and green often comes down to personal preference.

What footprint does the Defender-ST use?

The Vortex Defender-ST uses the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro (DPP) footprint. It is NOT compatible with Trijicon RMR or Doctor/Noblex footprints
