Great product!

This slide stop is a much-needed add-on for the Prodigy. It makes a huge difference.

The only shortcoming, that I found since buying the Springfield Prodigy DS is that the slide stop is recessed into the slide of the frame. So, you can't easily release it without exaggerated movement. With the EGW slide stop, it extends out more, where your thumb can easily disengage it, and engage it effortlessly. And that is why I purchased it. EGW engineer and manufacture great quality products. And that is why, I keep buying their products.

This is an excellent upgrade for your prodigy! The only thing I didn’t care for on my prodigy, was the recessed slide stop; this part solve that problem, immediately, with direct and simple installation. 110% recommended, get it!

Fit my prodigy with no modification and functions as it should. Finish is a perfect match to factory slide / frame.

Didn’t fit…perhaps need to break in pistol
