We are pleased to provide information about the 2025 Hunting, Fishing, and Camping Sales Tax Holiday in Florida, running from September 8, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
Eligible Items for Sales Tax Exemption
The Florida Department of Revenue has released Tax Information Publication (TIP) #25A01-09, which outlines the items eligible for sales tax exemption during this period. For firearm accessories, the exemption is limited to a specific list of items.
Based on this guidance, the following products from our inventory are sales tax-exempt:
- Red Dot Sights
- Pistol Sights
Note: "Sights or optics" are explicitly listed as eligible for the exemption.
Important Clarification
The state's official publication specifies: "Firearm accessories, for purposes of this sales tax holiday, are limited to the items shown on page one. Silencers/suppressors are not exempt during this sales tax holiday."
We have no control over which items Florida designates as sales tax-exempt. To ensure accuracy, we contacted the Florida Department of Revenue, and they confirmed that only the firearm accessories explicitly listed in the document qualify for the sales tax exemption.
