Installation & Overview
The EGW Docter footprint Picatinny rail mount is designed to allow shooters to mount compatible red dot sights directly to a standard 1913 Picatinny rail. This mount is compatible with many popular optics including the Vortex Venom, Vortex Viper, Burris FastFire and other red dots utilizing the Docter / Noblex footprint.
Precision CNC machined from durable aluminum and finished in matte black hardcoat anodizing, this mount provides a rugged and lightweight mounting solution for rifles, PCCs, shotguns and other firearms equipped with a Picatinny rail.
This mount is specifically designed for true Picatinny rails and does not fit Weaver rails.
Due to manufacturing tolerances between firearms and rails, minor fitting may be required.

Mounting Hardware Included
- (2) 6-32 x 1-1/16 Screws
- (2) 6-32 x 3/8 Flat Head Cap Screws
- (2) 6-32 x 5/16 Button Head Screws
Installation Instructions
- Remove all hardware from the mount including the threaded lug
- Place the mount onto the Picatinny rail in the desired location
- Ensure the recoil lug aligns with a Picatinny slot
- Install the threaded lug into the slot with the threads facing upward
- Reinstall the hardware loosely
- Push the mount forward against the recoil slot
- Tighten the mounting hardware securely
- Install the optic onto the adapter plate
- Apply blue Loctite to mounting screws
- Torque optic mounting screws according to the optic manufacturer's specifications
Fitment Notes
This mount is designed specifically for Picatinny rails and does not fit Weaver rails.
