A piggyback mount keeps the red dot on the same vertical axis as your main scope, requiring a simple head lift to transition. It is fully ambidextrous and keeps the rifle's profile slim. An offset mount requires you to roll the rifle to the side to use the red dot. The choice often comes down to personal preference and shooting style.

What do I need to buy to use this system?

The EGW Piggyback System is modular. You will need a set of our compatible scope rings for your scope tube diameter (e.g., 30mm or 34mm), and the corresponding adapter plate for your specific red dot's footprint (e.g., Trijicon RMR, DeltaPoint pro/Shield RMSc, Vortex Venom).
