Machined Rings for Classic 1" Rifle Scopes

The 1-inch main tube is the traditional standard for hunting optics, rimfire scopes, and classic rifles. Don't trust your grandfather's rifle or your favorite hunting rig to cheap, mass-produced cast parts. EGW 1-inch scope rings are precision-machined from solid aluminum in the USA, delivering a flawless grip that won't crimp your tube. Engineered to fit perfectly on Picatinny or Weaver bases, our rings guarantee absolute zero retention in the field.

Step 1: Choose Your 1-Inch Ring Series

We manufacture two distinct lines of American-made 1-inch rings to suit your specific platform:

  • Keystone Rings: Our premium line. Featuring a robust build and a squared recoil lug that seamlessly fits both Weaver and Picatinny rails. Ideal for heavy-recoiling centerfire hunting rifles.
  • Practical Rings: A streamlined, highly cost-effective solution without sacrificing our signature clamping power. The perfect upgrade for rimfire setups, slug guns, and lightweight hunting rigs.

Step 2: Choose Your Ring Height

Selecting the correct height ensures your objective lens clears your barrel while keeping your cheek weld as low and natural as possible.

  • Low Rings (.850"): The standard choice for traditional hunting barrel contours and scopes with objective lenses up to 40mm.
  • Medium Rings (.990"): Required for heavy barrel contours or to clear slightly larger 44mm to 50mm objective lenses.
  • High Rings (1.275"): Provides necessary clearance for AR-style flat-top rifles or uniquely tall hunting setups.

Why Upgrade Your 1-Inch Scope Rings?

While the industry has seen a massive influx of 30mm and 34mm tubes, the classic 1-inch rifle scope remains the most widely used optic for deer hunting, varmint control, and rimfire target shooting. Because these rifles are often carried through heavy brush, bumped in truck cabs, and subjected to harsh weather, your mounting system must be infallible.

Preventing Scope Tube Damage

Many older or cheaper 1-inch scope rings use a stamped or cast construction that applies uneven pressure. This can permanently crimp the thinner walls of a 1-inch scope tube, ruining the optic's internal tracking. EGW 1-inch rifle scope rings are precision-machined to exact tolerances, ensuring maximum, even surface area contact. This distributes torque perfectly across the scope tube, preventing damage while locking your optic dead-center.
