Two Solutions for Any Mounting Challenge

Adding a miniature reflex sight to a handgun slide drastically accelerates target acquisition, tracking transition speeds, and downrange accuracy baseline metrics.

We offer two primary types of optic mounting plates to ensure you can mount your preferred red dot, regardless of your pistol's setup. To ensure a perfect, secure fit, we always recommend installation be performed by a qualified gunsmith.

1. Dovetail Mounts (for Non-Milled Slides): Our original solution. A gunsmith removes your factory rear sight and fits our plate into the empty dovetail, creating a solid platform for your new optic without the expense of permanent slide milling.
2. Adapter Plates (for Milled Slides): If your slide is already cut for one optic footprint (like a Trijicon RMR) but you want to use an optic with a different footprint (like a Holosun K), our adapter plates are the answer. They screw into the existing holes on your slide and provide the correct footprint for your new optic.

Understanding Pistol Optic Footprints

Because miniature red dot manufacturers do not utilize a single universal mounting standard, matching your chosen optic to the correct plate footprint layout is essential. Placing an optic onto a mismatched plate will prevent alignment pins from seating and can strip housing hardware:

• Trijicon RMR / SRO Footprint: The heavy-duty industry benchmark. This layout utilizes two prominent forward positioning pins and two rearward screw locations. It is shared natively by popular optics like the Holosun 407c, 507c, and 508t lines.
• Vortex Viper / Venom (Docter) Footprint: Highly popular for low-profile hunting and target setups. This layout features four corner alignment pins and utilizes a distinct screw spacing arrangement also shared by Burris FastFire and original Docter reflex sights.
• Holosun K-Series Footprint: Specifically engineered to match the narrow, slim geometry of micro-compact concealment pistols. It is modified from the standard Shield RMS/RMSc footprint layout by removing the rear indexing sockets entirely to maximize space.
